ARMS Latest newsletter - December, Number 25
The Auckland Regional Migrant Services Trust has issued their latest newsletter for December (Number 25). It contains information on updates to Settlement Support (Auck City), updates from Dept of Labour, Community Notices, and what's coming up. Unregistered overseas trained doctors
Auckland Regional Migrant Services is trying to contact as many unregistered overseas trained doctors in Auckland as possible to assist Health Force NZ develop the NZ REX preparation Placement programme to assist unregistered International Medical Graduates (migrants and refugees) who are residing in New Zealand. On behalf of the Health Workforce, ARMS is collecting data on the number of overseas trained doctors in the Auckland region who may be interested and elegible for such a programme. Community Information Session
ARMS is organising a community information session to advise the ethnic communities about the Auckland International Carnival and give updates on settlement support in the Auckland region. This will be held at the ARMS office in the Three Kings Plaza on Wednesdat June 9, from 4:30 p.m.Contact reception@arms-mrc.org.nz to register.

Personal and Community Safety Forum
ARMS is organising a Forum on personal and community safety on 1 May, at the Auckland Regional Council's Council Chamber. See more details here 
 
Kiwi-English Pronunciation Course
 The Auckland Regional Migrant Services trust is organising a course on Kiwi-English Pronunciation.
 
This course is designed to build an awareness of individual pronunciation habits, and provides tools foreffecting pronunciation changes that will result in more intelligible speech and effective communication.
 
It will be held at the ARMS Resource Centre, Three Kings Plaza, 532 Mt Albert Rd, Mt Roskill, on Saturdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Saturday 1st May through to 29 May
